Snow No say it isn't so

We have seen a small amount of snow these past years, Not enough to raise a sweat but enough to cause concern to those driving in it. Most of the time we get ice and freezing rain. The most snow I have seen in the area was maybe a foot or two in my lifetime. I have a vivid memory in elementary school Go Westgate!! where we were looking out the window as young children do and watching the buses come into the sweeping driveway before noon or lunch time. We all sat in our little desk chairs and whispered to each other why they were there so early, we could see the snow coming down but in our little minds that didn't register. Our teacher had ushered us to the cafeteria and threw the line to pick up our hot lunches and back to the school room to eat. The best part was the menu chili and cinnamon rolls, one of the favorites to be eaten and savored. Lunch went with out a hitch although those who could tell time knew it was early lunch much earlier than normal. But who were we to question the adults. It didn't take long to realize the whole school day was soon to end as the snow piled deeper. I was not a school crossing guard for the end of class that week but so when the call for the crossing guards to head to their posts was made I was asked to fill in for a student who was absent. I went to get my bright florescent vest and flag on and bundled up. The snow was coming down in white sheets but fluffy flakes to the ground as I made my way to the crossing. I waited as the bell rang and my fellow classmates came running out jossiling and playing as they headed home, knowing that the day was short and they would be in the throws of the snow making snowballs, snow men and if we all were lucky sledding later if and a big if there was enough snow. I did my stint carefully walking out into the road to stop traffic and allow the charges across the street making sure all were safely across before returning to the sidewalk. The children dilly dallied making it to the crossing, playing and having fun. In kid time it seemed forever but in reality it was only a half hour to forty five minutes from the time you leave to put your vest on to the time you return to the school and pull your own stuff together and are off for home yourself. I was fortunate in that I really didn't live far from school not more than five blocks. I will say that my Mom always' made sure I had good water proofed boots for the winter months. I can be thankful for that, a warm coat and a hand crochet knit hat to stave off the cold. That day we all had a blast playing in the snow as it fell, I got right on shoveling the snow off the walks out of the house and down the front up the block a few houses and down a few just for good measure. There was a motive for such, It piled the snow higher and made it more accessible to snowman material. I went in and shook off the snow, and warmed up in front of  and back with our one heater a one foot by one foot 220 volt that was the one and only heat source for the whole house, baring the electric stove which on very cold days was the BIG heater but wasn't used specifically for heat but in a dual purpose on cold days to cook a belly warming meal. That old coil heater did the job even when the outside temps would be in the -00 with the wind chill most winter days. Now there isn't the snow we once had come into the area, global warming LOLOLO or in this case warm houses creating a zone that makes for less snow in the winter a banana belt as it were. I enjoyed the next day off which was a friday and the weekend playing in the snow with Suzy and Jamie the neighbor girls, a loot of snowballs was lobbed into the tire swing, at the cat's and of course the telephone poles. We were too young for Hooky Bobbing or sledding One you needed a car for and the second you need a hill for neither of which at our age we had access too. The desert is still throwing freezing rain and the temps are said to cause it to be snow I will do my snow dance and wait with a cup of coffee in my hand and fond memorys of the past and dreams of future snow day's to come.

Looks like a lot of Seattleites don't like Marshawn "the Seahawk" Lynch getting financial support from his fan base. 50 thousand dollars in fines from the NFL is a lot, for silliness. Yes, the money could go to cancer research, homeless, foodbanks. Now think about how many MILLIONS the obama's have gained, "please donate your change, sell your toaster, spare clothes for our campaign, sell cookies, donate your pizza money" at least Marshawn has dignity, isn't begging or asking for any help with his fine he appears to be manning up to his decisions. It would be nice if Michelle would too.

By Jove Ain’t Technology wonderful;

How crazy is that to have an active office program. It pays to look in the right places now if I can get an active internet connection I would be in the berries. Haha, I thought one time that it was a given to have internet, then it was patchy, sketchy internet with the screech of a dial tone and the looming geek geek sound as the internet provider was accessed threw the melodious sounds, Wow this new connection, that is slower than the original gee whiz but I have internet. I know I took it for granted and thought “My how easy it is to surf the net, take a look at email, and to Facebook, Twitter, and watch youtube videos like they were just there…always. Now with the shut down and ending of farm season the free surfing is over until the next wi- fi hook up is scanned and gleaned. I could find my own provider at a highly exorbitant cost for very limited service but will just wait until free comes back. I know the owners sometime and sometime work out a small stipend for using the internet. Another way to stay unnoticed in my day to day living in the deserted areas of our community.

No more starbucks, NO MORE STARBUCKS, NO MORE STARBUCKS, NO MORE STARBUCKS, NO MORE

You get the general idea the company has chosen to sit on the fence, they wont tell you to leave, they wont say you cannot come in with an open carry, constitutionally guaranteed right to have a firearm in public. If you can't take a stand for what you belive in the FUCK you and your business. Yes, it's blunt but I have gone to starbucks and patronized them from the start up day's when they first when into business. So I take it personally when I have supported them but they choose to not support me Openly, see that play on words.

SO YEA, get off the fence or go down in flames gun owners unite like zombies on a fresh kill.

I played along and BAM!!

I saw a lot of posts with this type of D&D reference and I thought what the heck I might as well do the same myself and Here it is:

You Are A:

Neutral Good Human Ranger (6th Level)

Ability Scores:
Strength- 14
Dexterity- 15
Constitution- 17
Intelligence- 15
Wisdom- 18
Charisma- 14

Alignment:
Neutral Good- A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them. Neutral good is the best alignment you can be because it means doing what is good without bias for or against order. However, neutral good can be a dangerous alignment when it advances mediocrity by limiting the actions of the truly capable.

Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.

Class:
Rangers- Rangers are skilled stalkers and hunters who make their home in the woods. Their martial skill is nearly the equal of the fighter, but they lack the latter's dedication to the craft of fighting. Instead, the ranger focuses his skills and training on a specific enemy a type of creature he bears a vengeful grudge against and hunts above all others. Rangers often accept the role of protector, aiding those who live in or travel through the woods. His skills allow him to move quietly and stick to the shadows, especially in natural settings, and he also has special knowledge of certain types of creatures. Finally, an experienced ranger has such a tie to nature that he can actually draw on natural power to cast divine spells, much as a druid does, and like a druid he is often accompanied by animal companions. A ranger's Wisdom score should be high, as this determines the maximum spell level that he can cast.

VLOG say What!

Well what else can you do but throw out a video when you figure out after 3 years how to upload a video from your web cam. I thought I was less technically challenged.  So much for thinking :)

The whole thing should be easy

Can you believe it, I can't I should be able to shack up with some hot chick without a worry. Oh wait maybe not, Still looking for my portable home and there isn't a lot of time. I should put an add on a singles web site and whore myself out. Naw, can't do that I have lost most of my manly good looks that I never had to old age. With the advent of lasic surgery it takes most of the seniors widows out of the equation. I still am chuckling as I type but hey it's Sunday, warm and dammit I have been sober for too many years Have a great week

The day of kookin'

Today was cooking day, went through and made the Friendship bread I have been feeding for the past 10+ day's I lost count and forgot about the two day's for the weekend Saturday and Sunday. I whipped up one of many versions of Amish Friendship bread. This version didn't have pudding in it, good thing because I didn't have any instant pudding. I used up the cinnamon that had been in the tribal cupboard since 2006, A few eggs and the flour that has been in stock, The bread came out ok, I made it in a bunt cake pan, because duh I lost track of time and had wheat bread rising in the window in the only two bread pans that there are. I think the stock of Amish starter will be a great addition to the cupboard, This is the start of a weekend that could be fun if things can get put into motion. The Blues untapped concert are in the fairgrounds, Walla walla balloon stampeed, pasco farmers market could and should be a show to see. Will let you know.

Mini Van, cara van, out and?

Out and about should be what I am doing but ney, I am not. I am sitting in a chair with ass imprints in it. I made some cookies yesterday, not cookies as I posted but DOG biscuits. I thought they were good, hence I ate tooooo....many. I will not do that again or drink all 12 cups of coffee and the two left over from yesterday. Pssshhh...t who am I foolin' you know damn well I will be drinking that an more in the future, I am an adult I can do what ever I want to. HA!! Now if things were as they should I would like to be out at the pot holes reservoir http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potholes_Reservoir fishing for chrome trout fresh out of the hatchery or if I am lucky some good ol' perch they are fun to catch. http://www.parks.wa.gov/parks/?selectedpark=Potholes is where we went the first time. It was 1974 and we had just gotten a brand spankin' new Tioga motor home with a 360 automatic that would hold 6 people from Baydo's trailer sales in down town Kennewick on avenue C. You know the good ol' boy's they did a fine job of setting us up with a nice motor trailer with all the amenities, a in house crapper and genuine propane stove with a full sized fridge. The unit got all decked out via JC penny's and Montgomery wards. With a few incidentals from Earnst hardware. I loved dreaming of the day we would get the buggy on the road and spent some of my hard earned money on a John Denver 8 track tape for road music on our adventure. Our first trip on the year and maiden voyage of the new Green and lime trimmed white Tioga was to the pothole's to catch trout on the season opener. We were all decked out with worms, corn and Meps lures.  We stopped by the old Thrifty market for the small Miller bears in the tiny 8 ox. bottles for mom and grandma to sip on when they reached the shores and some NeHi sodas for me. Walt my step grandfather was a cheap booze in the 5th type guy that would wipe him out in one or two shooters and ice. When it came to fishing though the old Polock knew how to catch fish. He would always be the first one to hook something even if it was a "trash" fish. The old pole caught the first fish alright and it wasn't the trout that was bragged about for weeks leading up to the trip but PERCH, the trash fish and they wouldn't stay off the hook. When my mom was growing up and my Grandpa Berggy would hang out at the Tri city yacht club my mom would catch sun fish crappy and perch off the dock while Berggy would throw back some gin and tonic's.  They were the most fun fish for my mom to catch and catch them she did at the pot holes reservoir we had a large ice chest full by the end of the weekend and being on a limited income it was a welcome addition to the freezer. We skinned and filleted all the fish and put the Caracas in two five gallon buckets, the flesh fillets we bagged and sealed for freezing. But the hylight was the battering a deep frying of a full platter of fried potato's and those perch fillets. The weather was spring a blustery afternoon, rain in the evening, bright sun breaks threw out the day. It was an adventure, my first motorcoaching, fishing and desert living. I go back on occasions and of late I would long to go.........soon hopefully sooon

Some day's you?

There are some day's you feel just outside the shitter. Well today is one of those day's for me. I feel outside, removed. I shouldn't I got all excited and mixes up the Amish friendship bread brew that still has four day's till it's done and proceeded to go forth and make some dog cookies. Yes, I know cookies are cookies but I was watching Garden fork on youtube and they made dog cookies with a baked sweet potato. They were easy to make a cup of this a cup of that so I say's to myself that I need to make some. I did they came out great, I used a can of yam's that had been in the pantry for a few years but was not out of date. I had gone to the food bank one day to take my daughter, My friend runs it but isn't the manager. She had asked me once before to come in and volunteer a bit of time and I had but not a lot. My daughter got into a bit of trouble for having a cell phone in class or the hall or some silly thing that children will do in the age of not being able to live life without doing something or talking all the time. I decided and her mom had no say that the day's she was suspended from school she would be at the food bank working and she did like a champ, she woke up early and went in with me to work and my friend said she enjoyed it. On the last day there were to many things in the trough that couldn't be used. One big tub of cans that were bent and dent, due to the risk of someone being sued they couldn't be given out to the patron's. I took all that was offered. I have spent enough time to understand what could be safe and what couldn't and assume the risk. The can's that were questionable I would make up a soup for the turkey. Now without a turkey or anything else the extras were disposed of and it wasn't much a few cans that were left. Anyway the cookies came out good, very taste almost as if they were people food and they could be if I had added a little honey or agave. But like anything I make or cook or wish to share with the tribe it isn't appreciated. It is looked down on because it didn't come from a clown head or from under the golden arches. I will be glad to get into a place were my space is mine and there will be no one to answer too.

Bit o'Ruckus

Bit of a ruckus across the state in the Seattle area last evening 1 May 13, looks like the Anarchists were doing their bit to say hey no immigration limitation or legislation. They are met with many a new challenge's in destructive protesting, Seems the Seattle police department has their own bag of tricks, new tactic's that scared the on air news casters to the after life a few seconds at a time. Watching the sedate but yet violent tactics on both sides still doesn't make one or the other right just doing what the feel is for the better good. I was at the WTO riots and I do mean riots in 1999 out on the streets, I wasn't a police office or protester, I had gone over to make some quick high paying cash doing a custom carpentry job. while staying at my uncle denny's I got a call from an old employer looking for me. He wanted to know if my uncle could reach me and relay that he had three day's of work for me if I wanted it as downtown security for a few of the more affluent customers his firm contracted with. Being I was right there in town,I took the job, I was there anyway and had the custom cabinets well on the way to completion. In those early day's of protest there were a lot of violent and aggressive protesters. With molitovs being served up by masked bandit's. I had no feeling for the cause or the why of the protests, I didn't care who the protesters where. I took my job seriously and tried my best to keep the property's I was working with from the least amount of damage I could. Being a aggressive type of person and seeing that the situation would be getting worse as the day progressed there was little to do but wait the day's out. I kept most away, made sure the plywood was fastened steady and moved along from place to place in what seemed a tiring and endless circle. I watched many get arrested, watched boots to ribs and clashes that were provocateur and punisher, many received what they had coming to them on both sides there were no innocent's in this political battle.
I watched the movers and shakers who did show up not have a clue  or understanding of what was going on, who wanted or didn't want. They had their head up their...s and were only concerned with what someone else was going to do. Without question watching last night the bicycle brigade was effective but no affective as could be if horses were used. Pepper spray was used, flash bangs were used. As in previous skirmishes scare and disperse as apposed to tear gas and sheer force. A wall of bicycles is no match for a large crowd, a large horse is more of a match to move people but in today's budgets horses are no longer in the mix. Too expensive to keep, too costly to train and feed. We have become a society of city people in the city you would expect that. But dammit this is still the Northwest the farthest west in the United States you can go an by god damn they should have  horses for crowd control. They did in 99 and in 13 they had bicycles pshhhtt..
I took the job in 99 and don't feel bad, I watched and learned and now I see and know not to take a job like that again. Unless they start paying by the head Dead or Alive for protesters and looters.
Have a great day in the snow or shine

Beautiful April fools day 1

It is a beautiful April foods day at a whopping 76* outside, Spring has sprung and the little flowers are peaking out of the ground. The frost giants still come at night most day's of the week and wreak havoc on the young buds trying in the early day to grow into strong plant and bearing tree's. I like this time of year it is new, a time for renewal of the season and step into the summer where fruits and vegetables will pop forth to feed those who are hungry. This is the time where the cute young animals come about from their winter birth and fatten on the lush green grasses and flowers. I would love to own more pets or should I say own pets again. To have the acreage to raise a few cow's and chickens and you might have guessed it at least one dog.   I am partial to labs black, chocolate, yellow, golden they are all faithful and will be your best friend without a question to who you are or what you have done. I had a great lab Bourbon, he was dumb as a rock when I got him with little training but the desire to please that and self gratification to screw anything with canine origin. he lives for 15 years by my side day in and day out. Knowing when tough times were upon us, not just the times when he got a bowl of rice or oatmeal but the feeling you have when you get down. Bourbon wasn't a lay about he worked for a living by hunting. He would spend his day's protecting the house or yard and on the weekday's we could hunt he was eager to make his way into the truck head held high looking about at the passing scenery. I took Bourbon everywhere, he went elk hunting and deer hunting with us waiting patiently in the truck till we would return. When I came back to live in the TC I would take him early morning to hunt birds. Although he was getting up in age he would wag his tail as we approached open country he could smell the wheat and sagebrush and knew where we were and what we were going to be doing. Spry as a deer he would hop out of the truck and spring in the air from clump of sage to another looking, smelling, hunting the thing he loved to do, Many a day there would be nothing but on those choice day's where the birds were flush he would poing point and goded the sitting or running birds into the air. He would chastise me with a mournful look of displeasure when my shot would miss or the bird was so wary from having been dogged before. It was a beautiful sight to see the dog work, in the early morning, sun riding above the fields and the silhouette of a red dog bounding in the air. Of a sunrise I think of those moments back in those day's and the feel of a worn out, wet dog laying with his head on my leg all the way home. Bourbon is a memory of friendship and unconditional love a dog owner keeps in his heart for day's like this. Those day's where you need a dog.

Happy Day of Easter,

The long day of the past is just that past. I used to wake up early in the morning to hide eggs and lovingly put baskets out for my daughter. Now I don't see her and she is a teen I haven't been so lucky to experience the Easter thing lately but what a great time we had. When I was little my mom and neighbor lady Gma Vi and occasionally my real Grandmother Edna would start with the egg dying on the day before Easter using the little box of dyes or i tubes to make all the eggs a rainbow of colors. I would try to make them as creative as I could, we would use soap to put names on a few eggs, the special ones. Then wax to make the contrast lines in the eggs. We would laugh as the small kitchen would fill with steam from the boiling egg water. Many a years the Easter season would fall on a time where the nights were brisk to freezing a few years the bright eggs and baskets would be hidden in light snow or in the torrent of wind and spring rains. My mom was creative she could cut hair, draw and paint she would spend time crocheting. When she hid eggs she was definitely creative, There would be eggs in the trees, on bushes, in cans and on window sills. Her baskets oh her baskets I will always be thankful for the baskets. She made them personal, putting in things that she new I liked or would appreciate, some years they were abundant other leaner years they contained more handmade things. They would have candy and peeps because we all know peeps are a food group not candy. The baskets would be wrapped in material not cellophane like baskets today. Once the baskets and eggs were collected we would head off to church, St.Pauls where the lady's would all be dressed in their finest and HATS, Oh goodness the hats they would be big and small, gaudy with feathers, birds, fruit you name it and many just pill box hats with the mesh that the older women wore. Always pinching cheeks and wanting to give the cute little boy a peck with red lipstick that would not come off. My mom was and outcast, not married and with a child, Sickly and on welfare. Many of the lady's were sooo nice on the outside till doughnuts and coffee was served in the church basement, then the little did you see or did you hears would be whispered. Funny as an adult and think back I know it is just words and just said because at one time my mother was a business owner and did all the ladys from the churches hair,as well as many of the "society" in the Tri Cities, My great grandfather a large contractor, was the main contributor and builder of St.Pauls episcopal church building the church for free, why because that was the type of man he was.
I tried to follow in her  footsteps, my moms, I would go from bus stop to store to store to bus stop and find the personal things that would make up her basket and wrap it like my mom in material found at St.Vincents or Goodwill all pretty. One year I found a fishing pole, "Scooby Doo" for my daughter her favorite cartoon, she liked it at the time but I didn't have the money for it. So by the time Easter came around I had done enough odd jobs to get it. Her eyes were so bright when she found it hidden in the swing chair on the porch. She immediately wanted to go fishe' being a sunday I had no way to take her. The folks I was staying with Louise and Bob were more than happy to take us down to the kid's pond off of the Columbia it just so happened to be opening day,The pond full of trout raised and released for the hook of young anglers and seniors we fit both descriptions. We loaded uncle Bob and his wheel chair into the family truckster with my daugher and Louise at the wheel. They had made a nice ramp for wheel chair access and Bob a gifted fisherman set the hook his first cast. My daugher and I sitting down the bank were watching the bobber with fever, humming and singing the easter tune here fissy fissy..... The bobber went down, the pole was gripped and my childs eyes and face looked like they would explode she was so excited as the fish broke water and the real on trusty Scooby doo came off and fell in the water. I gave it a mad dash and saved the pole and in came the first fish my baby girl caught. I was so proud of her so young and so excited. Those memories live in my memory, in the past as if it was today, now

The Mule Cart of internet speed:

The head mulesstres determined that she needed faster internet and more Wi-Fi out to her woman cave. Her woman cave can easily be discribed as the hording cave. the piles and piles of STUFF is outrageous. There is as much stuff in the once mobile office as some smaller dollar stores. The internet choice for router is a Cisco, the thing is a piece of junk made in the factory of some Asian country by a child who couldn't put together legos, It wont stay logged on to the wireless unit supplied by Clear, thats a new improved name for Clear Wire that operated on cell towers throughout the area. The Clear unit is sketchy at best with the spring sun bouncing off of the tower. I haven't had a real connection to a fast internet since college many ears ago when the fastest computers were 1. gig. I spend a lot of time on the internet, I do a few simple classes but most are video classes and when the internet is sketchy it's like a skip video, Nothing is simple in the world of electronics here at the tribe you must keep up with the hoes on the street. Lets hope that the problem will sort itself out and soon.

Slant Eyeded Suomi Today:

I look like I was prison raped, my eyes are as puffy and filled in as you can get almost to the point that I cannot see, would be so nice to take something that works to clear it up. Looks like the allergy's are kicking in from adding in the new heat  pump and furnace to keep up with the Joneses. One of the tribes buddy's had their heat pump go up in smoke and boom they had a new one installed for about 6 grand, So the head of house asked the tribes son in-law who happens to be in that business and la la la a new heat pump was procured and installed half assedly for you guessed it less, bragging rites all around. There wasn't anything really wrong with the other heat pump but it was older and not as pretty, it also will be more efficient with a new one. Funny thing about efficiency the tribal pill box hat lady had the son in-law put in a new thermostat a few months previously it was a big bells and whistles type that would allow the HP to come on when folks were home, off when no one was about and keep the unit more efficient. Well the first electric bill boom and mind you it hadn't been HOT but warm the bill was a whopping 250 bucks. now while they were away vacationing I turned the pump off which took 3 weeks of HP electricity off the bill and popped it down to a respectable 75 bucks. So when the bill came and the son in-law found out how to lock the thermostat so little pill box could no longer turn down the AC to sub arctic temperatures the bill became manageable. As a Hanford worker aka government funded slush budget, pill box was used to sitting in her little trailer in the desert and hogging the AC  in the arctic temps while it raged in the 100's outside. Granted that is hot but it carried over into the real life house where money isn't infinite and the cost of electricity is going up 3+ percent yearly I will not feel sorry for her going from 100 grand a year for checking in one to three water trucks a day, working upwards to and hour and a half in a eight hour day. For the sequester is hitting soon and she will be furloughed unable to find another job and quit the gravy she is making until recalled back to work. I will say pill box is just smart enough or has friends who have been able to find a way to scam her way out of it. She earlier had her ears checked and put on a show of how she couldn't hear funny that she can hear normal conversation 30 feet away if she want to with the TV, computer and ambient noise but if there is a partial disability she was able to qualify for she took it and the money L&I gave her 15 grand. Funny she doesn't wear the hearing aids she was given, topping a bill of 4 grand for the fancy ones with free battery's for life paid for by the State. Recently she tried to pull a heart problem, causing shortness of breath, she was sent to a large hospital in a major city for surgery to correct it and poof she didn't have any problem like she was indicating when put under stressful lab conditions, After 4 hours of trying to repeat the problem on the operating table she was diagnosed healthy  In the last month she went in and told them her shoulder hurt, gee if your nearing 55 and you have a weight problem, don't exercise and drink pop like it is running out of a faucet you might have some health problems adding in diabetics from sweets and the pop. months before when she was being asked to work,  meaning she had to load a bag of laundry, one bag up to 25 lbs. into her truck once a week with coveralls to keep you clean in a dusty environment semi radio active area and hang them up when you got there, put the full laundry basket back in the truck and bring it back to the office when you come back so it can be picked up by the laundry company. Humm...seems she was injured and needed physical therapy to help her injury. she was given exercises to recover and with the union insurance, her insurance, her husbands insurance they didn't see it as work related. Now months later she heard of the unpaid furlough that was going to be implemented and her should er hurt so bad she surely must need surgery. Surgery was scheduled, so she went into HR to set up he L&I for another partial disability and on the job injury and poof she hadn't filed from the onset of the injury so no L&I. But of course there are resources to help get the L&I clam filed once the surgery was done. Surgery is done, she came home with a little bursitis and little shoulder calcium deposit, she was given this slick mechanical chair that moves your arm and shoulder joint automatically, like I said slick, do you think she used it? well yes she did almost 60 minutes out of her 18 hours that was recommended by the physical therapist, How do I know well the little gizmo that set's repetitions  time, arm, movements marked on her it keeps record of how and how long she actually used it, indicated by the tech that brought out the chair. she was up for 3 hours of chair use each day dispersed evenly in 30 minute time frames. She FAILED. so now she is still timing it so she may be able to get the L&I money while she isn't getting paid by her job courtesy of the suggestion by Obama to cut the budget. Funny how this Hanford project has been on the forefront of a big money pit but after staying with someone who is a lifer out there I now know why the cost's are so high, Easily we can all figure it out if 20% of the union employees go threw all the trouble to get a disability, I mean shoot when I was working out there you wouldn't be hired unless you could lift 100 lbs. and work a full shift, Now if it's over 25 lbs you need two people to move something or call in a laborer, In the past you needed to go threw a background check were they even asked if you had any injury's, they asked your neighbors if you had been injured as a child,if you were a malcontent or drunkard. Here I have kidney cancer, I have taken to a natural treatment, I was born with a congenital heard defect. But yet I was in the hot spots as a young man and I cannot for the life of me claim it came from the job I had for a few short months out in the Hanford area. I signed a statement that I knew the risks, I don't have insurance, never had. Others must have the free ride syndrome and in the end all of us will pay for it.

I Don't read Chineseee....

I have been pouring over aaalll...the information available in Blogger and Google help. Yea, help just isn't what it appears to be. I cannot seem to find a way to add an RSS feed or any other link to my blog to allow others to subscribe? I have gone to RSS and other sight's to find a link to add into the basic HTML this blog template is made up of. Not as if I know what I am doing but I was giving it a shot in the dark. I haven't been able to add to the format with the simple links they have suggested the DOES NOT COMPLY came up on more than one occasion. Threw due diligence I  might be able to find the third shooter in the grassy Knowles and add it. I could add the Google + into the blog that would be the easiest but it changes the who picture of who I am and what my blog was meant to be. About me but also the area I live who the hell really want's to know any more about me..   Like I said in a previous post I just add the URl to a reader or in this case with reader soon to be discontinued the subscription on Blogger. It is a pain and takes up time to go to so many hoops to add it boils down to is it worth it. I felt it did but I have time, my busy schedule isn't busy.

Any way here is a nice view of the valley on a nice overcast day.
