Do You Read My Posts??

If you do leave a comment and let me know I don't post consistently but hey, I do make the effort. I have been busy reading and reading more and more. Do you get the drift? I have found a few exciting books on the 30's depression on Amazon.com, 'Face the Winter Naked' in the free eBook section and they were fascinating how the man of the family had traveled so extensively through the south east trying to find work to pay his rent. His rent was due to a family member but the nagging drain on him to keep up with the bills took a turn for him to abandon his family in hopes his wife's family would provide for her and his children better than he could. He suffered from what is now survivors guilt, A WW1 veteran he had lost his buddies and would relive the tragic events leading up to their deaths in nightmares. Now PTSD is treated to airmen who's only contact with combat was to hear the planes take off. This man lived through constant attack's to the trenches and mortar attacks. Today's soldier is just as tough in a high tech world but much more cautious than those dough boy's of WW 1 who flung themselves into heavy and I mean lead filled open fields. The man made it back home and did start to repair his family and the book written by his daughter at the age of 83, and so many years latter depicted how the man in his pride and humility was able to overcome the hardships and harshness of starvation wearing out shoes and cloths but making due, riding the rails, working long and arduous days for penny's on the month. His wife a woman with 4 children taking in laundry and sewing, wet nursing a child for milk and eggs. With nothing like flour, corn meal, baking powder available but maybe once a month from the commodities exchange. I really sympathised with her plight the upswing was even with a drought situation her father in-law was a able to grow a few vegetables to offset the meager staples the government and her jobs brought in. Such is the American spirit to survive, Today I am not sure there is a survival instinct, in many circumstances there are people who make do with what they have, but in a time of tragic event's there are those marauders that do more than that which is survival, they are beyond getting food, water, and shelter. They are predators taking from those around them, raping innocents, killing those who brought no harm but became victims. A man who survives with smarts and perseverance and makes it to live a life until it is his day to die can hold his head high and face what god he believes in with a clear conscience.

Ram Rodding a Herd of Squirrels:

When you look at the way people are taught these day's you can see the basics have been forgotten. I know the regulations put into schools are for the benefit of all. To insure that no child is left behind, But with this ideal we are leaving behind our most intelligent children. Those that excel in art are not nourished they are left to their own study, there isn't enough money to let them learn and in return our teaching staff isn't there to educate the artzy creativity in our children. There is a place for art in our lives, we use art in our own way, to ease stress to lighten our heart. In the same sense we are not allowing those who are not academically strong but no less intelligent to become what they would be, Farmers! We have gone the way of the high tech neophyte. I can't see using a shovel to make a living but I love the thought of driving a tractor, and planting, raising and selling a crop of vegetables to those who would like to eat healthy. To strive to get away from the GMO foods who cannot grow again only to wither and die, and in most cases in our own bodies. The kid who is into sports is catered too. To help them gain self esteem, there are practices, games and comradery. Parents run themselves ragged getting kids to the sporting events to make their kids into super athletes. The bottom line is so that the athletics can forge a way to collage and spare the exorbitant fees to attend collage. The same opportunity should be given to those who can grow a fine crop or a fat calf, draw a pen and ink Monet or sketch the drawing of a comic book. I would like to see more into the sciences the ability to have children learn at a younger age the principals of chemistry. But we can't do that the children have been labeled too young or not capable of learning the safety of using chemicals.
When I was younger a stint in the scouts was an experience that I will carry my whole life. I learned to hike in the woods, be civil minded and to build a pine wood derby. There were many other things I learned but the one that have stayed in the ol' memory box and I will cherish them. When the scouts died out I partitioned the Brotherhood of DeMolay that brought me in contact with civic leaders, taught me to solicit and earn money through hard work and fundraisers. The DeMolay were a junior version of the Masonic lodge, the leaders and business persons who made up the community I lived in. The brotherhood of DeMolay was a way to embrace more than I had been exposed to in the past, to take pride in myself and develop communication skills that I could carry with me throughout my life. It also gave me confidence to talk to people, girls and hone the respect I had previously had for my elders. These are some things that had shaped my life and I will forever hold them in my heart and sole.

I like the night life I like to boogie:

I sit and watch "I married and axe murderer" how fun is this old movie to watch..FUN.
I can't get over the talent that Mike Myers has and how diverse his characters are. I would like to have the ability to think and create characters like he has. The whole Scottish thing remind's me of my buddy Jimmy and how when I would wear a kilt he would call me and Englishman. Hey, English buy me a soda, Ha or a shot of tequila lol I chuckle every time. I like my kilt and I wear it well, being Scottish, Soaman, and Native I can relate to all and many not just the English, lol I was type cast.  I miss darts we would play on wednesday's and thursday's fun times not the most social group but fun all the same.
Another day with poor internet and the rumor of a virus from big brother. I cross my fingers and hope they straiten shit out soon.

Great Run Seahawks:

I sat and watched the Seahawks and Falcon's play, what a game a few poor calls by the coaching staff and a butt hurt loss by the Seahawks, I can see a lot of potential for our Tri City Dust Devil Russel Wilson who as a second baseman stepped up into a starting position to lead the NFL Seahawks as their quarterback. I Can see a bright future with many season's to come if they can hold the team together and make some good draft choices to beef up the lines. If the receivers can learn to hold onto the ball and sacrifice their body for the play we have potential.
I slept like a champ most of the night no plague symptoms this morning and a semi rested body. Yea, for a full recovery and a new outlook for the body to match my black sole. I have been sticking to a good and healthy diet, homemade food and the right amount of what I hope is life giving water. I can't read anymore about healthy and not put it into practice. ta ta for now back later with the fallout of the day's games and exercise.

Not good enough? Not enough traffic? Don't ask us:

Were sorry you are not able to have tacky advertisement on your blog. You sir are not good enough for our program. We have reviewed your blog and found it distasteful and rude. Please do not contact us our decision is final. Well HA!! that's funny I just thought I would try and try and succeed is a NO in google land. I would add more to the content but meh..I do what I like when I like and how I like doesn't that sound manly.
On a sweeter note I have not been as sickly but my back feels like someone kicked me in the kidney's. Stretching and stretching, has not helped but the cough, solar plexus and chest from the sniffles has done a few rounds with Mike Tyson. Time to apply a fresh stick layer of hot and icy to heat the lower back up, then finish up with a few muscle relaxers to loosen up the ol' prison hyway.
I will attempt to make the famous youtube video Chinese rice with chicken. It would be great to video the process to compare it with others and see what they think. Someday maybe that's a dare to dream.

No no it's perfectly normal:

Normal sure it is, I know that the other members of the tribe went to the doctor for the nagging coughing belly aching runny nose stuffy head crossed eyes crap that is going around as of late. The oh, it's just allergy's in WINTER is crap. Don't you know it's cold and flue and plague season? Hmm..or are you just a little too short buss to figure it out. I am thinkin' short buss it is. I would like to at least feel better when school hit's the start date, and then there is bartender school first. The elder tribe member who is the most recently sick was given cough syrup with codeine and boom it didn't work, an inhaler that doesn't work, and a dose of four day's worth of antibiotic's. This has fallowed suite with what the teen and the other adult who initiated the plague into the house was given. Me meeh...I was given NOTHiNg, just a stiff upper lip and to grim and bear it.
I signed up for the ad aware in the blog to see if I can get any more stuff in my bank account one day. It's not like I am popular or like any one other than add spooks reads my rambling but what the hell you have to try sometimes and this is part of try.
The weekend is on the roll in and the Seahawks play on Sunday I believe so I am in for the win. I have chided the Hawks but have always stood by them through thick and thin. They are northwestee's and should be rooted for as all the other local and unappreciated teams of the northwest should have their names shouted from the rafters and supported. I will and shall.

From The Time I was little:

My current situation makes me frustrated with life but there is hope to correct what has been done and repair the damage made to me by my own body. I called about ABC bartending's class that starts once a week and get's you you servers license. I also called on classes that run concurrent on cooking and preparing meals. All these classes sound like great fun and I would really like to take them. I filled out my app for FAFSA and the barbering school, Drawback it the wearing only black, white or a combo of the two for a total of 32 weeks if I can wear those lifeless colors until I pass the State exam I will be ready to start a new career and business.

Did ya'Drive Over With her on the BAck?

So there is a new tractor in the house with a tiller and a bucket Oh and a blade for flattening out the driveway or clearing snow. The fella brought it all the way from Montana on his flatbed car trailer with his Chevy pick up. Nice fella'had a bit of treacherous road to travel this time of year. I also got the malware running on the computer and it has found more trojan's and sneaky stuff than I could count but hey it is working an it can even go online now so I can actually read the fine print.
I found a barber school that will take me and it starts soon. I think I still need my bartenders license for my shop and to get the barbering on point. I can be a Captain barber that will pour you a stiff drink a nice Shiraz or a quart of shine. Will see in the morning.

Downloading the Latest Inoculations:

AVG,MALWARE,SPYBOT and a bunch of other stuff.

Gee, I cannot believe all the stuff that you need and I do mean need to get rid of anything you might have caught while surfing the web. It's like you now have an STD and need to get rid of it. The biggest thing I do is try to watch the NFL games with the disagreement between FOX and DISH it is the only way to at least attempt to watch. The only free sight I have found has window after window of pop up's and it comes from Thailand. I also found out the darn game is delayed by up to 5 minutes a quarter seems lightning speed of the internet and cable isn't so lightning. I got everything downloaded for my STD protection this morning but to run it you might as well sit down it's gonna' be a while.
Thanks to a few smart people I can dial out on Google and actually have a phone conversation almost like you had a phone or something lolo, You only live once and I seem to be living but not as if the Mayan's were right. I also got the skinny on the Washington Stealth lacrosse team schedule and season ticket's, next up is the path to find a new set of dig's something with the well and garden I am looking for there have been a lot of animals on Craigslist and I feel I would like to have a few of the rescues as well as get the Peachness back I miss that bitch.
Well time to go Babysit the computer and give it a few more med's BBL

Why don't we just play quarters.

Another time in another place that would be amusing. Right now few things are amusing, I am trying to watch the playoffs with the Seattle Seahawks and it's not really happening. Yeah, I can see the game but it is delayed by a lot. I can see scores on twitter and run's really most of the game and then you see them sorta live on the link from the net I have running in another window.
I got some interesting info with the look of a no service on the cell phone...yup no service and when I dial out it has a big nothing. Damn, I only made a few if any calls a month but damn I feel nakid. I shouldn't link myself to technology anyway I mean the interweeb is bad enough but shoot I hope I can scavenge my old number a lot of people have it.
I have killed my link to a lot of people friends and family so it is expected that I would loose it eventually am I whining why yes, I guess I am.
 Till another day......

Light weight....

Yup, that's right came in at 1 a.m. and couldn't stay up to watch the Hockey game WTH? yeah, me neither but I was just too warn out from nothing. I haven't even gotten a chance to check on the score or if I have my head up my tail and have the wrong day. But I was able to check out a good game with Russia n Sweden looked good to see those teams slash it out. I had a hell of a night's sleep I kept hearing sirens, whistles, cat purring and snoring through out the night, here's the kicker it all came from ME yes, ME the one with the stuffed nose and upper respiratory infection/cold. Damn it's starting to get on my nerves let alone my drowsy mind.

Flat Bread Flat Bread is not what you want

Well the bread had risen, It looked good was put into the bread pans and boom all it had to do was sit and rise and pop it into the oven.
One of the tribe decided to leave the door open because it was sunny out side...well sunny does not mean warm and poof it was no longer risen bread but a pan with dough in it. I thought what the hell don't kids know to close a door when they come in. It dropped down 6 degrees in the house and caused the bread to fall, does it taste like bread yes it does just not like I would like it too.. The nice sunny day with blue bird clouds was a whopping 34 F outside and the heater doesn't kick in during the day unless it gets down to 62 to save on electricity and you can't raise the temp with the thermostat locked. At one time someone was constantly turning up the heat or dropping the AC and the bill went past the roof sky high. The lock on the thermostat has made the bill much more reasonable even with the load after load of laundry some tribe members choose to do on a daily basis.
All is not lost I will be making more bread once the herd is not going to be showing up. I was nieve thinking the majority would be busy trying to make a simple set of steps or a ramp but nope they were not. Thinking or assuming is not my strong suit not a lick of common sense is amongst some. They don't follow my advise or my experience, But go with the rookie, now I know how pro athletes feel being benched. Tomorrow is another day make the best of it.

LATE NIGHT:

Waited up till 1 a.m. to watch the USA Vs.Canada play in Ufa Russia. What a great game the USA came out on top they crushed Canada and I crashed with my cold and stuffy nose. It was great to see a group of kids play hockey together and the next game with Sweden for the gold will be tonight another 1 a.m. start, but the world is always up somewhere.
I think of the loss of life today of little Piper the child and her parents who are suffering more due to the stupidity of politic's yes the poor child died from inattention. But the parent's will have to live with the loss and guilt for the rest of their lives. The Benton County prosecutor is taking the grieving mother to court for manslaughter what a tragic event and to sensationalize it is unconscionable. I have set my way today by waking up moving and standing TA DA. life is OK so far time for more coffee and a snack have a good day.
Good times good times, I got up and cooked a boneless chicken breast,salt/pepper and a raspberry chipotle hot sauce on top with four slices of polenta fried in a teaspoon of bacon grease, ate standing up with 8oz of water. Good stuff and a nice recap for the lite weight meal eaten before 2 p.m.to help in getting a run on loosing weight. Walked out to the pin and ran the dog, fed the bird, came in and brought out some non frozen water. one happy bird and the crazy dog whose owners are not responsible for the dog they have is a bit happier and had her heal and sit stay lesson. Now to sit back have some lemon tea and read a bit of the pc for kindle lot's of freeby books in the library and not many read. :)

2013 Holy Hell

Date line Washington, the new year has come January 2,2013 where did 2012 go and what have you done with the things I planned on doing. A time thief lives amongst us. Procrastination and sloth are one of my favorite time thief's to call upon and I do it way too regularly. But and there is always a but. I use them as an excuse to be a chair potato. I have sworn to change that this year it's not a New Years resolution but a lifestyle change that I will do. I don't sit at the computer I will stand when using it to get the circulation and rotation movements my body needs. I have a long stretch in the morning to treat my back and legs better so no lividity will set in, I'm not dead yet. And I will keep you posted have to get the corn polenta in the pot and get the lean chicken breasts in the oven for this end of the weeks foods prepped.
